Cristo di Campobello
Immersing yourself in Agrigento’s Sicily, along a significant part of the wine and flavours road of the Valley of the Temples also means knowing the important project realized by "Lu Patri" Angelo and his sons Domenico and Carmelo Bonetta. It means to reach south of Campobello di Licata, in the district of Favarotta called "du Cristu", and to see among hills of chalky calcareous nature of the luxuriant vineyards of Grillo, Chardonnay, Nero d'Avola, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot surround a beam and pay homage to the statue of the Holy Crucifix placed there.
The Baglio del Cristo in Campobello you immediately feel familiar and welcoming, you are struck by the hospitality of the hosts, the harmony of the environments, the attention to everything that is realized, the passion for the work aimed at perfecting the philosophy that the winery has adopted since 2000 and that is based on careful care in the vineyard, low production ( only 300 thousand bottles a year), harvest at the best time of growing, delicate harvesting by hand and in crates and accurate vinification guaranteed by state-of-the-art equipment and computerized controls.
As Carmelo Bonetta says, the commitment aims to guarantee territoriality, authenticity and aromatic complexity.
