With the “weekend in the vineyard” package we you offer the opportunity of being in close contact with nature to observe how our foods including bread, wine, oil and the more special dishes of the “Locanda Gulfi” are prepared. Our oenologist will take you on a guided tour of the vineyard on the Ibleian hills. Here you will be able to taste our wines and other typical products directly in the territory within which they are born. In the afternoon our chef will accompany you in the backstage of the “Locanda” for cooking classes. In front of the cooking stove he will show you home some typical Sicilian recipes are prepared and you will have the opportunity of taking part in their preparation.

A detailed description of what we offer:
Friday
• Afternoon check-in(by 18:00 hours)
• Dinner in our restaurant with a view on the
vinification room and lodging in the “Locanda”

Saturday
• Generous breakfast served in the barbeque room and a visit to either the “Ragoleti” or “Canziria” vineyards with either an aperitif in the vineyard or tasting of typical products
• Lunch in the wine-estate with the “tradition and territory” menu, accompanied with Gulfi wines and tasting of our extra virgin olive oil
• In the afternoon cooking class with our chef Giuseppe Causarano
• Dinner with the dishes prepared together and a surprise offered by our kitchen

Sunday
• Hearty ibleian-style breakfast and a guided tour in the wine cellars among more than 600 fantastic “barriques” (small wooden casks), vinification and bottling rooms all with a technical explanation of the process we follow and why we chose to follow these
• Sunday lunch with a farewell toast
