Palmento Costanzo is an Etna winery located in Contrada Santo Spirito in Passopisciaro, Castiglione di Sicilia, Catania.
Over 100 terraces, with lava stone walls, guard a vineyard cultivated with alberello (bush-trained) vines, which climbs the slopes of the volcano from 600 to 800 meters above sea level.
Within this scenario is Casa Prefillossera, which takes its name from the oldest vineyard on Etna, from which Palmento Costanzo's flagship wine comes to life. Casa Prefillossera allows guests to experience Etna in a unique way; completely surrounded by vineyards, it is the ideal place to find relaxation and comfort.
The house consists of a master bedroom and a guest bedroom, a bathroom with shower, kitchen with induction hob and terrace. It is equipped with a fridge, freezer and oven, wi-fi, air conditioning, underfloor heating, bed and bath linen, daily cleaning and external parking.
For stays longer than 3 nights, guests will enjoy a free tour of the winery and a tasting of Palmento Costanzo wines.
Price per night for 2 people:
- January to May 2023: €200.00
- June 2023: €220.00
- July 2023: €250.00
- August 2023: €310.00
- September 2023: €250.00
- October 2023: €230.00
- November and December: €220.00
Agency commission 15% on the above prices.
- Final cleaning: €60 to be added at the end of the stay.
- Extra bed €35.00 (children over 10 years old are considered adults).
- 10% discount for bookings of 7 nights or more.
- 10% discount for bookings made within 7 days of check-in (last minute).
- 10% discount on bookings received 90 days before the arrival date.
- Minimum stay of 3 nights for the months of July and August 2023.
Payment methods and conditions
Online with credit/debit card, through Stripe platform, required in order to confirm your booking, after the approval, within 48 hours and anyway within half the time remaining before the booked experience.

If you request cancellation, the refunded amount depends on the amount of time left before the check-in day, based on the following table:

Change to the number of people
You can always ask to edit your booking; if the price reduces, you will get a refund of the extra amount, if it increases you will have to pay the difference.
